Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a traditional Bhutanese greeting. After a scenic drive, you’ll reach Thimphu. Your first visit will be Tashichho Dzong, the fortress-monastery that serves as the seat of the government and summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot). In the evening, take some leisure time to explore Thimphu town and its local markets.

Start your day at the impressive Buddha Dordenma, a massive statue of Buddha overlooking the Thimphu valley. Next, visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Discover Bhutanese culture at the Folk Heritage Museum and witness traditional arts being taught at the Institute for Zorig Chusum (Painting School). Don’t miss the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan's national animal. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along Thimphu’s streets and mingle with the locals.

On your way to Punakha, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m) for breathtaking views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Upon reaching Punakha, explore the stunning Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and historically significant Dzongs. Walk across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley, known as the "Divine Madman."

Drive to Phobjikha Valley, a beautiful glacial valley that serves as the winter home of the Black-necked Cranes. Visit Gangtey Monastery, an important Buddhist site, and enjoy stunning views of the valley. Spend the rest of the day exploring the picturesque Phobjikha Valley on foot, renowned for its pristine environment.

Enjoy a scenic drive back to Paro. Once there, visit Rinpung Dzong, an imposing fortress-monastery with unique architecture. Conclude your day at the National Museum (Ta Dzong) to learn more about Bhutanese history and culture.

Hike up to the iconic cliffside Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), one of Bhutan's most famous landmarks. Afterward, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. In the evening, relax with a traditional hot stone bath or explore Paro town.
